SUUQ — Iraq’s multi-service marketplace.

A Seera General Trading venture. SUUQ puts grocery, restaurants, pharmacies and eCommerce on one platform — customers order in the app, local vendors run their own storefronts, and an in-house delivery fleet closes the last mile. Operated out of Erbil in English, Arabic and Kurdish.

Secondary — green

Used for grocery and fresh categories, and wherever the crimson would clash with vendor branding.

How it was built

01
Market read

Mapped what Erbil households order weekly and which categories had no reliable delivery option.

02
Vendor recruitment

Signed the first grocery, restaurant and pharmacy vendors before writing consumer-facing copy.

03
Platform build

Multi-vendor marketplace stood up with customer, vendor and rider apps against one admin console.

04
Trilingual launch

Interface, notifications and support delivered in English, Arabic and Kurdish from day one.

05
Scale the fleet

Rider recruitment and zone expansion tied to order density rather than city boundaries.

Why Seera built it

SUUQ is the consumer-facing end of what Seera already does upstream: sourcing goods, moving them and holding stock. The platform turns that supply capability into demand — local vendors get a storefront and a delivery fleet without building either.

It also gives the trading division a live read on what Iraqi households actually buy, which feeds back into procurement decisions.
